Back to School

My 3rd grader!

Today was back to school day, and it was a super busy morning. Alicia came home with a big smile on her face, because she has been wanting to go back to school so badly. She told me she has two girls in her class from her class last year. She is also excited to start band, chorus and start her new position as vice president of the Kiwanis club. She is also happy to have her classroom on the second floor, she says it makes her feel like a big kid.  We all look forward to a great year!

Road Trip

This past weekend my husband wanted to take me on a mini getaway after my quarter finished for school, he wanted to award me since I got all A's this past quarter! I put a lot of hard work into my classes, and really was appreciative to the getaway surprise! I was so happy to see my mom, brother and finally meet my husbands cousins wife and their son, also my daughter enjoyed playing with Angie whom is my husbands cousin too. I love this mini-getaway so much! I love my hubby for making the trip a fun experience!

Cousin Visit

I have been meaning to blog on this and other events for a while now but I have been so busy with school I just haven't had the time. So, now I am just doing this...A few weeks ago my sister and I thought it would be a good idea if Alicia would spend the weekend there to play with her cousin whom she has not seen in over a year. Sad, but true ( Over a year). According to my sister and my daughter Alicia, the kids were so happy to reunite, my sister took them to the pool with our older brother and his son, and they all attended a birthday party of my sister's friends child. Alicia came back so happy, and I was more happy that she was able to spend time and create some memories with her cousins, which I am for sure going to make this more a priority.

Best cousins in the world...

10 months old

Yesterday my little Jasleen turned 10 months old! She is the sunshine of the house, "whenever someone in our home is having a bad day, Jasleen is always there to brighten their day"... She is always full of smiles and laughter. Jasleen eats well; she loves diced peaches, peas, and cut up chicken. She loves to play in the tub and be in water period. She likes the cartoons, Little Bill, Peppa Pig, Fresh Beat Band, and Diego. She is very active now, she doesn't fully crawl but she Army Crawls and she mastered the use of her walker, and just learned to stand up holding on to something like the couch or her crib. She drinks 6-7 ounces of milk, and has her preferred bedtime schedule but still is an early riser. Jasleen has many teeth now, and if one of her sisters is not careful she will bite.

I can't believe how time has gone by so quickly! In just two months Jasleen will be turning 1!  I love her so much and I am so blessed to been able to have her and my two other daughters in my life. Most women would only dream to have what I have which are "children", Three beautiful little girls!

I indeed am grateful...

Dream Light Pillow Pals

Today I was finally able to get Alicia a dream light pillow! My other two daughters has had one already for about two weeks now, I wanted to get them all one at the same time but unfortunate circumstances got in the way. My hubby could not wait any longer to get the two little ones one of these pillows, leaving my poor Alicia kinda left out. So finally today was the day we were able to go get her one, and oh boy she was super happy! There wasn't much variety at the stores we went to, the store we went to only had the penguin in stock. Daisy already has the penguin and Alicia wanted something different so I was worried Alicia was going to be upset but once she saw it in person she fell in love with it. Personally I think she just wanted one period.... But I am glad she loves it, and now all my babies are happy!

Second Airport Trip

It was so great to finally have Alicia join us going to the airport to pick up my brother in law! My baby girl was so happy and excited to finally be able to come along for the experience, she felt like a movie star she said LOL. Daisy was happy too! This time the trip was very sunny, hot and loud; perfect for pictures, and actually seeing planes land & take off. When my brother in laws plane came in, we waved to the pilots and they waved back with big smiles and joy. It was so sweet! We were lucky to even have the plane park so close to us to see it that well. Alicia is so eager to experience more at the airport, she wants to actually travel and know it better. It was nice to see my daughters smile....

July 4th

 

Our little family celebrated 4th of July at the Bank Atlantic center this year, my girls went inside the bounce house, rides, and even saw their first concert which happen to be the band Sister Hazel performing. There were jugglers, games, all kinds of vendors, and the best part the firework show. We had fun celebrating our freedom, and spending time together as a family. Also, on the 4th of July Jasleen turned 9 months old, she has grown a lot, has more expressions on situations, things and expresses when she is bored. She is an early bird still; I am not sure when this will ever change because I am definitely NOT a morning person! Oh and Jasleen has a passion for dancing, every time she hears any kind of music she starts dancing. It’s quit entertaining LOL. Anyhow only three more months till Jasleen is O.N.E! So exciting!
