Honar Roll

I know this is a late post but being that this month is a super busy time for us, it was bound to happen to where an event gets forgotten to post about. On November 9th Alicia had her honor roll ceremony, she got silver honor roll and a reading award. She worked real hard to maintain her honor roll title, and I am super proud that she brought her grades up to make it on the honor roll list. I know third grade can be challenging and a bit hard but she did it, she made honor roll!

Daisy's 3rd Birthday

 Yesterday we celebrated Daisy's 3rd Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's with a strawberry twist. Daisy absolutely LOVES Chuck E Cheese's, she has been demanding we have her birthday party there with a strawberry shortcake birthday cake. She was so excited to be there, and this time was more brave to shake Chuck E's hand and take a picture with that crazy mouse. She was also excited to see her cake and eat it too! A lot of friends and family came to celebrate which made it even more special! I can't believe Daisy will be 3 years old on the 26th of November! Time has really gone by to fast, and to top it off, the the past three years have been absolutely special because of Daisy! She just brings so much energy, happiness and spirit to our home. Javi and I are so grateful to have been blessed with a beautiful little girl name

Thanksgiving 2012

This year I was pretty excited to host Thanksgiving dinner at my house! I have never done it before, and was worried about all the cleaning I would have to do before and after. This week has been extremely busy for me, I had a group project for school that was do before Saturday noon, and other assignments I had to complete. Despite being group leader for that project, I was pretty stressed out about hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house. Overall the gathering was successful, it was a small group but fun and pleasant to host this event. My girls enjoyed the change, they played and ate a lot for a change, and the guys chatted and us women chatted as well. My green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole turned out perfect, every one loved it! The turkey was great as well as everything else! After dinner I served some Abuelita hot coco with panaton " fruit cake/bread". Then we cleaned up and called it a night. Thanksgiving this year was the best only because it was at my house!

Halloween 2012

For Halloween this year my handsome hubby had an even at his job that was for family to enjoy. They had face painting, a photo booth, a clown that made balloons and food. The kids got their face painted and just absolutely got worn out from having an awesome time. Then the next day on actual Halloween we went to my mother-in law's ward at church to let the kids enjoy getting candy there. They played games, ate, and then went out to get candy in there drunk or treat gathering. It was a bitter sweet evening...
