Movie Night

On Friday April 5th, Javi and I decided to introduce Daisy and Jasleen to the movie theater. We all saw the movie the Croods, which was a cute movie. Daisy at first thought it was cool but eventually got bored, so the only think that kept her quiet and occupied is popcorn and candy. Jasleen did surprisingly well, she was quite and pretty much cooperative. Alicia saw this movie for the second time since her dad took her to see this movie a few weeks back. After the movies we then took the girls to the game room which is located right next to the theater. We spent a good two hours or three in that game room, the girls were so worn out they fell asleep fast on our way home. Over all the first time movie experience went extremely well and it was fun!

Diva for the day...Disney on Ice

 

Yesterday, we treated Alicia to be a Diva for the day at her favorite girl salon called Lollipops, she got a manicure, pedicure, facial, makeup, her hair done and a photo shoot. Jasleen even got her hair cut for the first time and Daisy didn't want to do anything except eat all the lollipops she could lol. Alicia looked gorgeous and Jasleen looked like a doll.

Today, we went to Disney on Ice which my brother in law Antonio got us tickets to. We go there and was so surprised to find out we got a suite! The suite had a mini bar, buffet and VIP food ordering service which the people order and get the food to bring it to you. The show was amazing! Alicia's favorite show was Rapunzel and Cinderella show, mine was also Rapunzel and the end. I must say Alicia had an amazing birthday weekend!

Alicia today is a very special day, because it is the day when I first saw my angel. May you never grow up for me! Have a lovely birthday! I wish you to love life and never stop dreaming! Today while Alicia was at school I went to the store and bought a package of 50 balloons, went home and blew all the balloons up in her room. All the balloons were waiting for Alicia to come home to surprise her. I had two little helpers " Daisy & Jasleen" who decided it was a better idea to put all the balloons on Alicia's bed. Then Daisy, Jasleen and I went to publix and got a mini birthday cake for Alicia, this day we wanted to make special for her. After dinner and cake the girls decided to play dress up in Alicia's room and have a dance party. The night ended well and tomorrow and the weekend will be more in store Alicia...Park day for the girls, then Saturday Spa Day for Alicia, then Sunday is Disney on Ice Show for Alicia...

Spring Performance

Last night Alicia performed at her Spring Performance for school and she did so well. Alicia sang in the choir, played the recorder and had a duet playing the violin. Her performance was beautiful and she was beautiful, I am so proud of my little musician.

BSCJ-Concentration:Specialization in Forensic Science

 In May of last year 2012, It started out with a letter...Note: I applied to the school that I planned to go to since I was a senior in high school but was never able to go because I did not have a high school diploma. Eventually I got my high school diploma through the Ogburn School Inc South Eastern Atlantic Academy, from there I made the biggest mistake and enrolled in to the Art Institute of fort lauderdale in which I wasted a whole year and a half of my time and money. Finally I became serious and finally got the courage to enroll into AIU-American Intercontinental University. The letter came in the mail in May 2012 and stated that I got excepted! I was so Excited and Nervous!

I chose to get my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a Concentration and Specialization in Forensic Science. This is the field I been longing to study since 2003 of when I graduated High School. Finally, I am here and with only 17 more months left of school! I have done so well in school I have practically gotten straight A's...In math which is my weakest subject I did actually pass! Since last year I have been on the Deans List and even gotten letters in the mail stating how well I have been doing. Here is a few samples....

 

I am so Happy that I made this decision to finally attend AIU! I am so excited for what the future has in store for me! I will be doing an internship at the Broward County Sheriffs Office Crime Lab in downtown Ft. Lauderdale in the Courthouse! Also, I hope to be permanent there in the Crime Lab. I have some schools in mind to attend to get my Master in Forensic Toxicology that way I can work my way to the Crime Lab for the FBI. These Are my goals...and NO ONE will Stop me! Till then I will be holding out till June 1st 2014 to graduate with my BSCJ!
