Congratulations to my best friend Mayte on her new addition!

My best friend had a baby girl name Adriana Isabella on January 4th 2011.

I visited little baby Adriana and my best friend the day after and oh my goodness I fell in love! Adriana is truly a blessing! She is super tiny and oh so CUTE!

I am so happy for Mayte May heavenly father bless her and give her all the strength she needs to raise her new bundle of joy...

 It’s so hard to believe that 2011 is already here! So long 2010...

Last night Javier and I dropped off Daisy at his mom’s house so we could go out to celebrate the New Year.

At Fort Lauderdale Beach they had a 100th birthday celebration for the City of Fort Lauderdale. On top of the elbow room they had a mini ball drop, ton of music and glow in the dark necklaces.

Javier and I got to watch a beautiful fire work show on the beach and my favorite CUDDLE....We met a ton of new people.

Noche Buena! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This Christmas we celebrate Noche Buena/Christmas around midnight of December 24th. This year we kept it simple and spent Noche Buena/Christmas at my in-laws, we had a delicious dinner, waited till midnight by dancing and listening to music. . Daisy didn't open presents right away because she was super tired....Though I must mention I couldn't wait till the morning to see her open her presents, so I woke her up LOL. She was so out of it, her facial expression was read "I'm so NOT in the mood for this MOMMY!"

I was so happy to see what everyone got, and was especially happy Alicia LOVED her gifts this year. She asked Santa for a Password Journal, well HE GOT HER A PASSWORD JOURNAL. She was super happy when she saw the password journal.

Javier got what he wanted which was a Miami Heat Snuggie LOL

And...

Daisy got what she wanted also which was a Minnie Mouse table/Cair set

And...

As for I, well I got what I wanted too which was a phone upgrade. Javier and the kids got me the HTC evo the phone that I have been wanting for the longest....

All in all there may have not been much this year for Christmas, BUT I think everyone was HAPPY and got pretty much what they have been asking for all year. Most importantly we were with each other as a family and loving the time we spent together on this BEAUTIFUL CHIRSTMAS.....

The best of all gifts around MY Christmas tree: is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other....

Lunar Eclipse

Last night Alicia and I stayed up till midnight to see the first phase of the Eclipse, this was Alicia's first time ever seeing one. She was so excited to see what the moon, earth and sun do when it all aligns. We sat out on her balcony with our binoculars and waited and waited to finally see the most amazing thing! She fell asleep inside her room for a little while I was on the lookout. When I woke her up to see it she was so amazed, I loved her expression seeing one for the first time.

Cupcakes

Today Alicia had her Christmas party at school. I was so indecisive on what design to make the cupcakes that would be fun and festive all at the same time. Thanks to Alicia's grandmother she gave me the idea to make snowmen out of marshmallows to top the cupcakes. At first I did kind of not like the idea only because I didn't want to spend much time on them. Well, I did spend time on them but I must say it was worth it. The cupcakes came out super cute and according to Alicia’s feedback on what her friends thought were very positive!

ALICIA: Mommy my friends loved the cupcakes! They wanted more...lol

Santa Visit

Every year for the past 4 years I have Alicia visit Santa at the Galleria Mall here in Fort Lauderdale to take pictures with him and tell him what she would like for Christmas. It is absolutely beautiful the way they have everything set up! I adore just watching Alicia sit on Santa's lap telling him if she has been good this year and what she would like for Christmas. It's moments like these that are absolutely priceless!

This year now that we have our new addition Daisy, it was exciting to see what Daisy's reaction would be sitting on Santa's lap. WOW! Well all I have to say is at first when she sat on his lap she was sooo scared she cried. Fortunately she had BIG SISTER Alicia there to calm her down and show her the ropes...

As you all can see in the picture Daisy did crack kind of a smile there...

Daisy's 1st Birthday

On November 26th my little sweet baby girl Daisy turned 1 year! I can't believe how time has gone by so fast. It feels like yesterday Daisy was born.

On November 27th we held a birthday party for her at Markham Park here in Sunrise.

It was such a beautiful day to enjoy with family and friends. Daisy was a bit exhausted but pulled through. She got to taste birthday cake for the first time! She LOVED cake!

She also loved pinata time...

I definitely look forward to the years to come with little Daisy.
