La Bayadère Ballet

The story began in the 1800's in Royal India. Inside the royal palace, the temple slaves go about their daily tasks. The royal Prince Solor is captivated when he sees Nikiya dancing about the temple and cannot help himself although he is betrothed to Gamzatti, the princess.




My daughter Alicia performed for the very first time in a recital we have been anticipating to see. She was a little yellow flower in the recital, and danced so beautifully. I am so proud of Alicia; she worked very hard on this recital for many months. For her first time in ballet, she did quite well. She was the star in her performance that night, I was in tears...I love her so so so much!
