Day-2

On Day 2 we decided to go to a local hotel water resort called Coco Key. The whole family had a blast! Alicia went on every slide, Daisy got brave and went on a couple of slide and even Javier's mom went on a slide. Jasleen loved being in the pool, it wore her out she fell asleep. We stayed there a good few hours, had lunch then went back in for another round.
After the water park I let the girls have some fun bubble bath time in the jetted tub.
They had so much fun...
Then after all that the girls decided to watch a movie
Then we went to walk around on I-drive...and this is were the night ended....

Day-1

This past weekend Javi and I decided to take the kids on a mini-getaway, so we went to my second home Orlando. On Day 1 we checked in, relaxed a bit, then I went to visit my mom. I haven't seen my mom in over 4 years. I know sad...But I made visiting my mom as one of my priorities this year. I loved seeing her, I missed her so much, I almost cried. It was so awesome to see her reaction when she saw the girls for the first time. She missed Alicia so much, she was so happy to see her again. The last time she saw Alicia, Alicia was 3 years old.
After we visited my mom we decided to go to Old Town. We took the kids to see the car show, ride on rides and choose candy from the candy store. Alicia loved going on all the rides, and shopping. Daisy loved going on the Carousel, and picking out candy from the candy store. It was a nice way to end the evening.
Then we had a midnight drive around good ol' O-Town...

Black History Performance

Last night Alicia and her chorus class sang in the Black History Performance. It was a beautiful performance, they sang; Follow the drinking Gourd, This Train/Swing Low/Oh, When the Saints, O, Mary Don't you weep, and We Shall Overcome. Alicia looked absolutely beautiful up there singing, I am so proud of her! The chorus instructor-Dr. Symnonette; did an amazing job on the piano, and for preparing the chorus to do such an amazing performance.
