3 Months old

Jasleen is 3 months old today!!!! Time is definitely in the works here. She has grown so much since she was born. She sleeps through the night, with occasional feedings at 2am. She still drinks 4ouzes of milk. A big time mommy's girl, she only loves to be held by me and only feels comfort when she sees me around. She loves her sisters a lot, loves to see them and hear their voices. She loves to speak baby language a lot, so I guess she is going to be talking everyone's heads off. Jasleen is very observant, she loves to watch TV, or stare at things for good while. Jasleen learned to pull on toys hanging in her car seat, and loves her music toy on there. Even though the doctor told me to have Jasleen do belly time, she hates it. I still make her though; it's only for her own good.  Over all Jasleen is a calm, sweet, and loving baby. We are so happy and blessed to have her part of our family.

Happy New Year ! ! !

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Eve, We sure did! We kept it small and simple, we shared it with close family and friends. 2011 was pretty crazy for us. We had some tragic things happen in the middle of the year, and we as a family seem to stick together and trust god would help us manage as a family and that's exactly what happen. The year ended with joy and happiness, and this we are grateful for. There are actually tons of things I am grateful for:
My Beautiful Daughters: They are my world! Without them I would be no one. I am so blessed to have three beautiful little girls in my life. Seeing their faces everyday lights up my world. I am definitely a proud mommy!

My husband: He's my best friend and my #1 fan. From him I get unconditional love and acceptance, and he always makes me feel like I'm special and liked. I'm the luckiest girl in the world for having found my Miami Heat Fan!

My friends: If I named them all individually, from wonderful acquaintances to tried and true friends, I'd have a big list. I don't have a large number of close friends, but I do know there are a lot of good people, near and far, who I can count on, who care about me, and who want only the best for me. I truly value my friends and will never have "enough" or too many.

Being a nice person: I'm hardly perfect, but it's good to know in my heart that I'm a kind person. I'd never intentionally hurt anyone. I don't believe in being mean. I hate to see anyone cry and love to see people smile. I may be a bit shy sometimes and not the best at socializing, but I genuinely appreciate and care about people.

Being a decent writer: At least, when I really try. I'm happy I can express myself and my imagination that way. I may not be the best writer, and there's always plenty of room for improvement, but I do know I have some talent to build on.

Knowing when to quit: I like knowing that I'm able to walk away from things that don't make me happy or aren't satisfying. Sometimes it takes a while to come to terms with "quitting," but I'm glad I've had the guts to do it when it has really mattered.

Good health: Knock on wood. This should probably be way at the top of the list, but I'm really not writing this in any particular order. I or my kids and hubby never had any major--or really any--health issues. One can never know for sure what will happen in that regard, but I'm thankful that we've been blessed with good health.

Being an American: Taking nothing away from any other country, I'm just being thankful for my own. It may not be perfect--what place is?--but I love it nonetheless.

The seasons: I love them all. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. There are so many wonderful, special things about each, no matter where I live or spend the time.

Sunshine: Doesn't it feel good? I know, too much isn't such a good thing, but, ooh, just to soak it up for a while, either outside or in a sunny window, is one of my favorite things.

The sound of the rain on the roof: Is there any better sound to fall asleep to?

Birds: Their sounds make me happy and so does watching them fly and flit about. I don't know the names of most, but I sure do appreciate them, especially some of the more common birds, like ravens for one.

I am grateful for tons of things...The list would just pile up... Happy New Year Everyone, hope 2012 bring good health, happiness and love....

Noche Buena & Christmas Morning

We spent Noche Buena at my mother in laws house and celebrated her birthday. We had an amazing dinner, the kids played, and us adults sat around waiting till midnight to open gifts. Daisy just couldn't wait any longer; she was getting real fussy so we opened the gifts 30 minutes early. Daisy forgot about being fussy and was so into opening the gifts. Alicia was super excited too, she was pleased with what she got this year. I will just post the pictures and label the happenings; it’s just so much to write.....

Christmas Party

Last night we had a blast at the Coral Springs Wards Christmas party! First the children in primary performed a play about Jesus being born, then the missionaries sang Christmas songs in Spanish, then we had Christmas Dinner. Daisy was enjoying the party at first but then just was so rambunctious....Alicia loved the part where the food was ready to be served and also playing with her friends. Her friends and her were all playing on the stage and running all over the church....We enjoyed being at the party...We look forward to next year

Santa Mail

Today I took Alicia and Daisy to mail their letters to Santa, they had so much fun writing the letters. Alicia helped Daisy with her letter, and loved helping her put it in the big red mail box. Alicia's letter was short and sweet, while Daisy's was long and demanding...just like her personality ha ha. It was so nice to see my little girls happy, I can't wait till next year when Jasleen can join in on the fun.

Holiday Concert

Alicia performed at her first Holiday Concert, and she did so well. She looked absolutely adorable up on stage singing, I was a proud Momma tonight! Alicia has joined Orchestra and is learning to play the Violin, at Tuesday’s Violin practice the teacher heard her singing and just loved her voice. He demanded she join Chorus, so this is what she did. She learned all the songs in one day to perform for this Holiday concert which she did so well in. I look forward to see more of these performances!

2 Months old

Has it been that long? YES two months old already came... Jasleen is absolutely a sweet bundle of joy! She is sleeping better at night; she only wakes up once now to eat. She drinks a full 4 ounces of milk, ha ha that's why she is so chunkier...Her last feeding will be at midnight then she won't wake up again to eat till 5am. It's so nice to finally be able to sleep a little more at night. She had a little bit of cradle cap last month, it finally has cleared....She also had a skin infection on her face, but that has cleared too. Now that she is 2 months old, it is the beginning of more interaction. She already can tell the difference of our voices. She knows mine real well, and loves to listen to Alicia's. Jasleen is more observant with her surroundings; she looks all around till she falls asleep. She loves sucking on her hands....Especially when it’s close to feeding time. She smiles a whole lot now! Which we all love.... I can stare at her all day! She is absolutely beautiful, and so loved in our family. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful child...
